A cloth nappy is a nappy made of fabric that you wash in the washing machine after the baby has used it. It's very similar to a disposable nappy, except you put the nappy in the laundry basket instead of the rubbish bin.
A cloth nappy requires two different parts to function – a shell which makes it waterproof, as well as something that absorbs the loo (insert).
