Would you like a insert that quickly absorbs liquid and reduces the risk of leaks? Then the Bambubooster is the perfect addition to your nappy! It’s a thin and flexible insert, designed to sit on top and quickly draw in the liquid before it’s passed on to the next layer. This prevents the liquid from spreading too much and causing leaks at the sides.
The Bamboo Booster measures 35 x 11 cm and consists of two layers of 70 % bamboo and 30 % cotton. The bamboo ensures that the nappy absorbs liquid immediately on contact, whilst the cotton helps to maintain an even distribution. It is not a nappy that keeps the skin dry, but acts as a first barrier that quickly catches urine and channels it on to a more highly absorbent nappy, such as a hemp nappy.
As a bamboo booster is thin and flexible, it does not affect the nappy's fit and can be used in all types of nappies, including diaper cover and Pocket nappies. It works particularly well for children who urinate quickly and in large amounts at once, as it helps to manage the flow and reduce the risk of leaks.
To ensure our bamboo booster works to its full potential, it should be washed 3–5 times before first use to achieve full absorbency. Wash at 60 degrees and, ideally, leave it to air-dry to maintain its shape and quality. Tumble drying may cause the edges to become slightly creased, but gently stretching it out after washing will sort this out. Avoid using fabric softener, as this can reduce the inlägg’s absorbency.
Just like other insert items, the bamboo booster shrinks by about 10 % after a few washes, which is perfectly normal for natural materials.
