The bag is made of a layer of PUL (polyurethane laminate) and is colourfast, meaning it will not fade or bleed colour when washed. If an unpleasant smell occurs, the bag can be washed with vinegar or bleach without it fading. Furthermore, the bag can be washed in a washing machine, but it should not be tumble-dried.
