Have you ever felt that the world of cloth nappies is a bit like playing Tetris? You try things out, fold, puzzle it out and try to find the perfect combination. But don’t worry, we’ve got a cheat code: a long insert in bamboo terry! This versatile insert is both soft and extremely absorbent, making it a real lifesaver for both day and night nappy changes. With its five layers of bamboo terry, it absorbs liquid efficiently, whilst the material remains gentle on your child’s skin. Bamboo terry is known for its excellent absorbency and silky-soft material, making it a popular choice for cloth nappy parents who want both functionality and comfort in one.
Measuring 65 cm in length and 10 cm in width, you can easily fold the inlägg as required. Do you want extra protection where it’s needed most? Fold it in half at the front if you have a little wet-spatterer, or spread the layers out evenly for a thinner, more flexible solution. Thanks to the clever button at one end, the inlägget stays securely in place Green Poppy's PUL diaper covers, so that it doesn't slip around, no matter how much your child moves.
The pad is also perfect for combining with other materials to customise the absorbency as needed. For even better absorbency, you can add a hempinlägg, which absorb and retain liquid for longer. This makes the combination perfect for long car journeys, overnight use, or if your child urinates a lot at once.
For best absorption, the insertet should be washed 3–5 times before first use. Wash it at 60 degrees and, ideally, leave it to air-dry to preserve its softness and shape. If you tumble-dry it, it may shrink slightly, but gently stretching it out after washing will sort this out. Avoid using fabric softener, as this can reduce absorbency. Just like other insert products, this one shrinks by about 10
