Green Poppys' bamboo liners are here to make your whole life easier! Well, your nappy changes at least, and honestly, doesn't that feel like a big part of life sometimes? With our disposable bamboo liners, nappy changes become easier, smoother, and more hygienic – something all parents of young children can appreciate. Suddenly, it doesn't feel like such a big step to start using cloth nappies, does it?
The bamboo paper is made from 100 % bamboo, a rapidly renewable and sustainable material. It is biodegradable and we sell it in rolls, with each roll containing 100 sheets. Place the paper at the top of the nappy, closest to your child’s skin, to help catch poo. After use, throw it in the bin – it must not be flushed down the toilet. With this clever disposable liner, you can easily lift out the poo along with the paper, dispose of the poo in the toilet (or in the bin if there’s no toilet nearby) and then throw the paper itself in the bin.
In addition to making nappy changes easier, bamboo paper can also be used if your child needs ointments or creams. By placing the paper between the child's skin and the nappy, you protect the nappy material from being clogged by greasy creams, which can affect the nappy's absorbency. This is particularly useful if the nappy has a synthetic inner lining, such as AWJ (Athletic Wicking Jersey), where grease residue can reduce the effectiveness of the cloth nappy.
