Can cloth diapers be used from birth?
Yes, it works perfectly to use cloth diapers from birth! Our cloth diapers come in One Size, and the size is adjusted with snaps on the front of the diaper. We think it’s especially advantageous to use flat diapers from birth.
What to do with the poo?
It’s actually not as difficult as you might think! Breastfed poop is water-soluble and can be washed in the washing machine. Once your baby starts eating solids, the poop should go in the toilet instead—feel free to check out our poop guide for smart solutions.
How do you wash cloth diapers?
Cloth diapers are washed in the washing machine at 60°C. When changing a diaper, separate the insert from the cover and store it dry and airy (for example in a PUL bag or laundry basket) until it’s time to wash. Use a detergent without bleach, avoid fabric softener, and then hang to dry for the longest lifespan of the diapers. You can read our washing guide here.
