Soft and absorbent insert bamboo/cotton

This insert is suitable for both newborns and older children. Use it at night in combination with a more absorbent insert, such as our hempinlägg, to provide extra protection. For even greater absorbency, fold the inlägg three times. You can also adjust the position of the inlägg to provide extra protection where it’s needed most. For example, if you have a boy who often wets the front of his nappy, fold the inlägg thicker in that area to optimise absorption.

Material and Size

The insert is made entirely from natural materials and measures 63 x 12 cm (unsoaked). It consists of three layers of a cotton and bamboo blend, wrapped in soft cotton. This means it can be used directly against a child’s sensitive skin without causing any discomfort. As inlägget is so soft and gentle, it provides your child with the best possible comfort, whilst retaining its functionality over time. It fits perfectly in Green Poppy’s diaper cover, which makes it easy to get a good fit and functionality in the nappy.

Washing instructions for insert bamboo/cotton

This product is both practical and sustainable. It enables parents to manage nappy changes efficiently without using synthetic materials. To ensure the inlägget achieves its maximum absorbency, you should wash it 3–5 times before first use. It will shrink by around 10% on the first wash. Wash the inlägget at 60 degrees and ideally leave it to hang dry to preserve both its shape and function. If you tumble dry it, the edges may become slightly lumpy. To restore its shape, stretch the garment over the edge of a table whilst it is dry – this will make it straight and soft again.

It is important to follow the washing instructions to ensure long-term use and optimum performance. For best results, avoid using fabric softener, as this can impair inlägg’s absorbency. By following these simple washing instructions, you ensure that inlägg retains its softness and functionality. It is also ideal for children with sensitive skin, as it is made from natural materials that are both gentle and effective. As inlägget is so easy to use and care for, it makes nappy changes a smoother process for both parents and children.
