These reusable wipes are a game-changer!.
The washcloths are made up of two layers: bamboo terry. This makes them SO soft (did we mention they’re soft? Because they really are!). The double layers make the washcloths a little thicker and give them a bit more structure. The washing cloths measure 20 x 20 cm, and we expect them to shrink slightly when washed.
Here at Green Poppy, these washcloths are used for everything. We use one set for nappy changes and another set for other things. For a child who has recently started food introduction, these are worth their weight in gold! We hardly need to start talking about the mess that occurs, do we? After the child has finished eating, we use one and the same washcloth to wipe their hands and mouth (sometimes eyebrows and ears too), the tray in front of the child, maybe the highchair and finally, we pick up any leftover bits from the floor. It's a quick way to save money on wet wipes!

You can also prepare your own wet wipes in advance. Boil about 5 dl of water and mix with 1 tsp of odourless coconut oil (or your preferred oil), stir until the oil has dissolved. Place washcloths in a box (a glass food container, for example) and pour over the water. Once the washcloths have absorbed the liquid, you can pour off any excess. Store with a lid! Perfect!
If you're out and about, it works well to store the washcloths or your pre-made wet wipes in one of our small bags of pubes.
