Trying out cloth nappies – contents

Pocket diapers

Pocket diapers is a simple and comprehensive system. The nappies come with two insert, one longer insert in bamboo/cotton and a shorter one Hampabooster. Green Poppy’s pocket nappies are one-size-fits-all, and you can adjust the size using press studs. The outer layer of the nappy is made of PUL. The nappy has simple leg gussets. The inner layer is made of AWJ, a type of dry layer that keeps your baby cool and dry when they wee. There is a pocket inside the nappy where you insert insert. This allows you to easily adjust the amount of absorbent material (insert) as required. After use, you wash the entire nappy. Read more about the pocket diapers here.

Prefold

The pre-fold is a square insert measuring 30×31 cm. The insert is divided into three sections, and you fold the insert along these sections so that it becomes long and narrow, like a insert. The pre-fold is made from four layers of bamboo terry, a material that is both gentle on the skin and highly absorbent. You can read more about prefolds here.

Wet bags

The big pully bags are perfect for storing clean and soiled nappies. The bags have two compartments that close with zips. The bag contains odours but allows air to pass through, which means it is breathable. The large bags measure 45 x 35 cm. They hold 12–14 pocket nappies with double insert inserts. The small pul-pouches Holds 2 nappies with double insert inserts and is perfect for when you’re on the go. They can also be useful for things other than nappies – for example, for storing washcloths, baby wipes, or why not a spare set of clothes for the children so they don’t get lost in the nappy bag? Diaper covers

Pul-skalen It comes in one size, which you can adjust using the buttons on the outside. There are tabs on the inside of the nappy to ensure that the insert and flat diapers sizes fit more securely. The PUL cover also has buttons on the inside where you can attach the insert size (just like our bamboo terry insert). You only need to wash the Pul-skal when it has been soiled or feels unpleasant. Cloth wipes

The wash cloths are your new best friend! Seriously, they're amazing. Forget wet wipes, we say! Soft, so soft. 20 x 20 cm, made of bamboo terry, and can be used over and over again.
