Cloth nappies aren't just for home use; they work just as well in nurseries. It's easy to get started, requires minimal extra work for staff, and is a clear step towards a more sustainable everyday life. The curriculum for preschool highlights the importance of children gaining an understanding of the environment and sustainable development. Cloth nappies are a concrete way to practise what you preach.
You pack with pre-packed Pocket nappies in one or two Suspender belts, one for each day or for the whole week. Once the nappy is used, staff simply place it in a Pull bag, which you then take home to wash. There is no difference in handling compared to disposable nappies, but a big difference for the environment.
For those who want to use cloth nappies every day at nursery, it's good to have a complete system with enough nappies, several bags and pouches so that you can easily rotate, wash and keep things organised.

This package is perfect for full-time nursery and for those who want to make cloth nappies a natural part of your child's everyday life – even when you're not there.
A pocket diaper is one of the easiest cloth nappies to use – both at home and at nursery. It consists of a waterproof outer layer and a soft inner layer with an opening (”pocket”) into which you insert one or more insert inserts to absorb the liquid. You prepare the nappy by placing the insert inserts into the pocket before use. This makes the nappy just as easy to put on as a disposable nappy.
The nappy is fastened around the baby using poppers. Green Poppy's pocket nappies are one size. You can adjust the size both in height and around the waist with the poppers on the outside of the nappy.
Once the nappy has been used, place the whole nappy – including the insert – in a Pull bag until it’s time to do the washing. After washing, separate the inläggen from the nappy so that everything dries quickly and evenly. Pocket nappies are popular because they’re simple, flexible and fit comfortably on your baby!
