Pocket diaper - flexibel and adjustable
Looking for a convenient and effective cloth diaper? A diaper that is easy to use, comfortable for your baby, and simple to wash? Then our one size pocket diaper is an excellent choice! The size is adjusted with snaps, both in the rise and around the waist. With multiple snap settings, it fits babies from approximately 3.5 to 20 kg. Since babies have different body shapes, it may also work outside this weight range.
On the front, there are three rise settings that make it easy to adjust the size as your baby grows. The waist is adjusted with horizontal snaps, and the diaper can be fastened at an angle to provide a better fit, for example for slimmer thighs and a wider waist. The soft, stretchy tabs ensure a comfortable fit without leaving marks.
The outside of the diaper is made from a waterproof fabric called PUL, polyurethane laminated fabric. This keeps the diaper leakproof when your baby urinates. The inside is made of AWJ, Athletic Wicking Jersey, also known as Coolmax. It is a breathable and fast drying material that wicks moisture away from the skin and provides a cool and dry feel. The inner pocket makes it easy to add inserts of your choice to adjust the level of absorption. Green Poppy’s cloth diapers also feature a pocket opening both in the front and in the back, making it easy to position the inserts correctly inside the diaper. This also simplifies diaper changes, as you can choose where to remove the inserts from, for example if your baby has had a bowel movement.

Wash and Care
After use, remove the inserts from the diaper and wash everything together at 60°C. We recommend air drying the diaper to preserve the elastic, but the inserts can be tumble dried on low heat. Avoid fabric softener and detergents with bleach to maintain absorbency.
Note: The inserts reach their full absorbency after 3–5 washes and shrink by approximately 10–15% during the first wash.

The design of the pocket diaper
The outer layer consists of PUL (polyurethane laminate), making the diaper waterproof. PUL is colorfast and will not fade with washing. The diaper also features tabs on the shell for closure. At Green Poppy, we use soft, stretchy tabs on our pocket diapers.
In the back, there's a reassuring back elastic. The back elastic ensures the diaper sits comfortably on the baby, but it's also one of the best features of a cloth diaper – the poop barrier! The sturdy elastic helps contain poop and significantly reduces the risk of leaks. There are also elastics around the baby's thighs to further minimize the risk of leaks. It's important for the elastics to fit tightly around the baby's legs.please, see our guide here how to achieve the best fit. The elastic may leave marks on the baby's skin, but it doesn't hurt. It's common and harmless for clothing to leave marks on the body.
The inside of the diaper consists of a pocket where inserts can be placed. The pocket has openings from both the back and front. Each opening is concealed by a PUL panel, which also helps reduce the risk of leaks. The top of the pocket (the part closest to the child's skin) is made of AWJ, a stay-dry layer that keeps the child feeling cool and dry when they've urinated. AWJ is also perfect for summer as it wicks away moisture and heat.
How to fit the diaper
Adjust the diaper’s size using the snaps on the rise. Place the inserts in the pocket. Then make sure you get a snug fit around your baby’s thighs and adjust the waist snaps as needed. A cloth diaper sits low, like underwear. You should be able to fit two fingers between the diaper and your baby’s stomach. Tuck any excess fabric upwards.
